London: Pakistan Press Club UK (PPCUK) is a platform for Pakistani Media professionals working in the UK. We are working hard to perform best for our native homeland and Britain as well. Any media persons who has at least three years experience and earns some amount from this profession would join Pakistan Press Club UK. It is said in a statement issued by the office of Pakistan Press Club UK after their executive council meeting in Hounslow London on November 20, 2013. Fayaz Ghafoor from ARY who is the President PPCUK presided over this meeting while Secretary General Azhar Javaid from Dunya TV, Senior Vice President Mobeen Chaudhry from Kashmir Link London, Vice Presidents Shaukat Dar Sama TV and Ishaq Chaudhry from Daily Ausaf London, Joint Secretary Natasha Sheikh, Information Secretary Naseem Siddiqui and Members Executive Committee Arshad Rachyal ARY, Akram Abid Kashmir Link London, Shahnawaz ARY, Majid Nazir Sleek Models and Mussaret Iqbal Daily Ausaf London attended and expressed their views on agenda items while Finance Secretary Kaiserimam, Members Executive Committee Nasir Khan and Faheem Farooqui did informed their non availability due to prior business assignments.
It is also decided in the meeting that Oath Taking ceremony for this year will be held in December, duties has been allocated for the committee who will manage this event. It is unanimously agreed that the social media tools twitter and facebook should be regularly used to update club members and community. All the current members were urged to submit their latest photograph with necessary information to official email address at: pakistanpressclubuk@yahoo.com to update the official website of PPCUK. Members convinced in the meeting that the chapter of friends of PPCUK should be made active again to practically involve energetic community leaders with Press Club activities. One of the active EC member from North West Majid Nazir presented the latest issues of Sleek Asians of fellows on this occasion.
