Lahore: Electronic Media Reporters Association EMRA organised an event in honour of the newly elected office bearers of Lahore Press Club and Pakistan Press Club UK in Lahore.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwer was the Chief Guest, whilst the Information Minister of Punjab Government, Mr Fayaz ul Hassan Chohan were amongst the distinguished guests.
Speakers appreciated the services of journalists in bringing out the core issues of society. They appreciated the services of journalists to pave a better path between the public and local government.
Services of Pakistan Press Club UK were also acknowledged by the senior journalists.
A memento was presented to the President of Pakistan Press Club UK, Mr Mobeen Chaudhry for his dedicated services to ensure a positive image of Pakistan is maintained abroad in the UK.
President EMRA Asif Butt and President LPC Arshad Ansari appreciated the dedication of overseas Pakistani journalists to portray a true reflection of Pakistan in the United Kingdom.
