We need to make strenuous efforts to educate our youth: President PPCUK

OLDHAM: British Pakistani diaspora is now playing key role in English society and where we are standing in different fields today is all due to hard work and sacrifices of our forefathers. We must not let our youths go astray. We still need to make strenuous efforts to educate them and ensure a bright and safe future for our coming generations.
These views were expressed by President Pakistan Press Club UK, Mobeen Chaudhry while talking to Oldham Mayor Councillor Ateeq Ur Rehman in his chamber. He met him along with his delegation of journalists.
He also said that Asian community associated with British politics must have political acumen. Their role in community must be like an active leader. They should not say bye after spending a life in isolation. Community needed vibrant and motivated leader like Atiqur Rahman who could do practical politics and raise his voice against different issues on the relevant fora. Mubeen said he was hopeful that Atique would play his role for the betterment of the Asian society and portraying the true image of Islam. He also offered his media source for that particular purpose.
He said they will play their due role to convey any information relating to the welfare of the people.
At the end, he penned down his views in guestbook on behalf of Pakistan Press Club UK. He paid rich tributes to natives of Oldham on the day of love. Mayor Councilor Atiqur Rehman ensured the PPC delegates that using his all resources he would try his level best to come up to their expectations.
Ishaq Chaudhry, Akram Abid Ch, Majid Nazir, Musarrat Iqbal, Nadeem Irshad, Shahzad Khan, Jahanzeb and Muhammad Fayyaz Bashir were also present on the occasion. Mayor Atiqur Rehman presented a shield to Mobeen Chaudhry and also cut the cake to celebrate birthday of Majiz Nazir.
