Reading: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf South East Chapter of England invited the newly elected members of Pakistan Press Club UK to congratulate them for their continuing services to the community.
The event was held at a community centre in Reading, it was presided by Anwaar ul Haq.
Members from the community appreciated the democratic norms of Pakistan Press Club UK. They acknowledged the historic traditions of PPCUK as an organisation that holds elections, where the journalistic community elects its office bearers instead of selecting them.
A musical night followed after the event. Renowned singers paid tribute to the newly elected members of Pakistan Press Club UK.
The newly elected President Pakistan Press Club, Mr Mobeen Chaudhry thanked the hosts of the event and urged them to indicate the problems faced by the community in their daily lives, so they could fulfil their duties to resolve them immediately.
